Every day my email inbox is full of interesting workshops and conferences that I'd like to attend, but just can't get to because they are too far away and/or too expensive. But every once in a while the stars align and something cool happens -- a workshop you really want to attend is right in your own back yard -- and only a 5 minute drive from home (and at a reasonable cost).
This is what happened to me late last month when I attended Social Media Simplified, a Web 2.0 Masterclass for Small Business Owners and Nonprofit Groups, which was organized by Linda P. Taylor.
The class featured such well known social media divas as Deborah Micek (aka CoachDeb on Twitter), Mari Smith, and the Blog Squad's Denise Wakeman, plus some other very special guests.
The day was totally amazing. Since the class was being taped "live", I also got to be in the studio audience. I learned so much and was blown away by all the insider information these women generously shared with us. I took so many notes and got so many great ideas from the class that I'm still busy digesting it all. And even though I attended the live class, I ordered a copy of the DVD and the other bonus materials so I could view it again and again to reinforce what I learned.
If you'd like to learn more about the class and/or order the DVD and bonus materials, you can find all the details at the link below. There's a special pre-release price for the DVD that expires on November 15th, 2008, so don't procrastinate!
